Southern Grounds is a coffee shop on the ground floor of the Integrated Oncology Building at 14100 Mayo Blvd — in the Duan Family Building lobby, connected to the Cannaday Pavilion, Mayo Clinic Hospital, Davis Building, and the main campus entrance via interior walkways. No need to step outside.
We serve the Mayo campus: doctors between rounds, nurses on break, patients before and after appointments, and families spending long days supporting someone they love. The café has indoor seating when you need to sit and grab-and-go options when you're moving fast.

Open to everyone. You don't need an appointment or a badge to walk in. We're on the ground floor of the Duan Family Building — patients, families, visitors, and Mayo staff all use the space throughout the day. If you're accompanying someone to an appointment or just working nearby on the Southside, you're welcome.
What are the hours here? This location seems different from the others.

It is. San Pablo runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on weekends. The schedule follows the campus — most of our guests here are tied to the clinic's weekday rhythm. If you're looking for us on a Saturday, our Neptune Beach, Avondale, or Jax Beach locations are open daily.

We're in the Duan Family Building at 14100 Mayo Blvd — the Integrated Oncology Building on the south end of the campus. Ground floor, visible from the building entrance. The campus has interior walkways connecting to several other buildings, so staff move between floors without going outside. If you're navigating from San Pablo Road, follow signs for the Integrated Oncology Building.
Is the menu the same as other Southern Grounds locations?

Same Intelligentsia coffee program and same scratch kitchen. The full menu is available — breakfast through early afternoon. The main difference is hours: we close at 5 PM here, so if you're thinking dinner, head to one of our other locations. Blueberry Bakery pastries are stocked daily.
